Our mission is to always improve. By challenging ourselves to always see the possibilities instead of the obstacles we know we can do just that. .

The digital world is complex in many ways but it can be simple and easy to understand. After all, there are some easy rules to apply. Take for example an old theory like Philip Kotler’s. The 4 P’s of the marketing mix taught us that Product, Price, Place and Promotion were key tools of the marketing mix. Although it is still highly respected, words like transparency, credibility and free information need to be considered in order to get a good marketing mix.

Learning is everything

At Populate, we believe in education. When we are not educating ourselves, in the field of digital media, we hold lectures to educate others. We give lectures in Interaction Design at Uppsala University and we give courses for people who wish to start their own companies. We also arrange workshops for our customers.

In addition to that, we continuously work with Uppsala University with projects on the subject of social media and how it may change the way we work. “Corporate YouTube” is one of our current projects. One question we soon hope to answer in this project is whether it is possible to create a two-way communication using Corporate YouTube. Another question is whether the use of film really is helpful when trying to create a dialogue within a big organization.
